Synergistic Effect of "Science" and "Education" to Cultivate Outstanding Innovative Talents under Background of National First-Class Undergraduate Majors Construction: Taking the Photocatalytic Degradation of MO with BiOI as an Example

Abstract:

The thorough integration and synergistic effect of science and education help the promotion of modern first-class undergraduate specialty construction. Shandong University of Technology introduces the scientific research projects into undergraduate teaching in virtue of predominance of chemical engineering and technology and applied chemistry for national first-class major. In this paper, the preparation of BiOI and methyl orange (MO) photodegradation are added in the undergraduate laboratory. The students' comprehension in chemical knowledge is deepened and students' innovative ability is enhanced through the reference search, experimental design, data analysis.
