Design and Practice of "Course Ideology and Politics" Education in Inorganic Chemistry

Inorganic chemistry is one of the basic core courses of the chemistry major in colleges and universities. This course has its own distinct characteristics and plays a significant role in the ideological cultivation and political education of university students in the field of chemistry. The ideological and political objectives of this course were clarified and elements in the course that can realize these objectives were identified. On this basis, the entire teaching process was carefully designed. During the following teaching practice, the ideological and political elements were organically integrated into the instruction of inorganic chemistry and the value guidance and education function improved. After integrating the ideological and political elements, the atmosphere of the inorganic chemistry classroom was further activated, the students' professional learning interest was stimulated, their horizons were broadened, and their moral sentiments were cultivated. As a result, the visibility and significance of inorganic chemistry was improved.
