The typical precious metals include gold, silver, copper, and cobalt. In addition to circulating in the market in the form of general equivalents, these metals also play important roles in many other aspects of human life. In an anthropomorphic way, this paper introduces the production methods and catalytic properties of monetary metals, as well as the luminescence of monetary metal clusters. The aim is to help readers deepen their understanding of the production and wide range of uses of monetary metals.

Key words: Monetary metal, Catalysis, Cluster, Photoluminescence, Aggregation-induced emission
