Research Advance in the Synthesis of Vitamin E Nucleus

This review introduces the latest research progress of TMHQ synthesis, including 2,3,6-trimethylphenol(TMP) redox method, TMP hydroxylation method, and isophorone method, as well as the mechanism of key steps. Development and application of new types of catalysts are the focus in this field.
