The lanthanides include elements having atomic numbers 57 (lanthanum) through 71 (lutetium). They all behave in a similar way in chemical reactions and play an increasingly important role in production and life. This article imagines a series of changes that have taken place on the earth since the disappearance of lanthanides, which shows their importance in human life.
