Innovative Popular Science Experiment Using the Theme of the Winter Olympics

摘要:

以冬奥为主题,运用高分子材料聚丙烯酸钠、果蔬中天然色素、多彩配位化合物、锌锡置换反应、鲁米诺荧光实验等化学知识和原理,创新性地将冬奥场景元素与化学实验进行有机融合,针对性地开发了一系列面向不同知识层次人群的梯度化、模块化趣味科普实验,向社会大众充分展现化学之美、化学之趣,从而在潜移默化中实现冬奥精神和科学知识的传播,促进公众科学素养的提升。

Abstract:

Using the Winter Olympics as a theme, a popular science experiment was developed that creatively integrates the elements of the Winter Olympics scene with a chemical experiment by applying the knowledge and mechanisms of chemistry, such as high-molecular-weight sodium polyacrylate, natural pigments in fruits and vegetables, colorful coordination compounds, the zinc/tin replacement reaction, and the luminol fluorescence experiment. A series of gradient and modular popular science experiments were performed for people with different knowledge levels to completely demonstrate the beauty and interesting aspects of chemistry and subtly realize the dissemination of the Winter Olympic spirit and scientific knowledge to the public, and thereby promote the improvement of public scientific literacy.
