Abstract:

In recent years, with the development of new energy technology, lithium-ion batteries have been used on a large scale. However, due to the small reserve volume and uneven distribution of lithium in nature, the production cost of lithium-ion batteries has increased year by year. Therefore, new types of ion batteries that can replace lithium-ion batteries, such as sodium-ion batteries, magnesium-ion batteries and so on, have gradually attracted people's attention. In this paper, lithium, sodium, potassium, magnesium and aluminum are personified. Through their debate, the advantages, disadvantages, development bottlenecks and future prospects of lithium-ion batteries and other new types of ion batteries are introduced.

Key words: Lithium-ion battery, Metal-ion battery, Electrochemical energy storage, Electrode material
