摘要:

随着一个多世纪以来塑料的使用,塑料为人类带来无可估计的效益和便利的同时,也悄然中带来了一种新兴的环境污染物——微塑料,严重影响到水生态环境和饮水安全,对生物体甚至人类构成潜在的健康威胁。在此情况下,有效监测水体以及生物体中微塑料至关重要,遗憾的是,目前并没有成熟有效的检测方法能够满足微塑料的检测需求。本文通过一个小故事,通俗易懂地科普微塑料的由来、危害以及当前一些微塑料检测技术的不足。

Abstract:

Plastics have been used for more than a century. While plastics have brought unpredictable benefits and convenience to human being, they have also quietly brought about an emerging environmental pollutant-microplastics, which has seriously affected the water ecology and environment, and posed a potential health threat to organisms and even humans. Under this circumstance, effective monitoring of microplastics in water bodies and living organisms is of great importance. Unfortunately, there is currently no robust and effective detection method for microplastics. This paper uses a short story to popularize the science of the origins and hazards of microplastics, and the shortcomings of some current microplastic detection technologies.
