Abstract: Against the dual strategic imperatives of building a maritime power and safeguarding resource security, seawater resource utilization has become a prominent research focus in marine chemistry and a pivotal direction for industrial advancement. To address the current deficiencies in university-level marine chemistry courses—namely, the limited coverage of seawater resource utilization and insufficient incorporation of frontier developments—this paper proposes an innovative teaching pathway driven by research achievements in seawater chemical resource utilization. By systematically integrating representative findings, including seawater element extraction, high-value conversion of brine, and the development of green processes, into classroom instruction, a trinity teaching model of “research–teaching– practice” is established. This model offers a practical and replicable framework for the teaching reform of marine-related disciplines.
