Innovative Experimental Design for Assembly and Performance Study of Aqueous Batteries Using Gel Electrolytes

Abstract: With the advancement of the “Dual Carbon” strategy and the rapid development of new energy technologies, there is a growing demand for safe and environmentally friendly battery technologies. This paper presents a comprehensive and innovative experimental design that integrates principles from chemistry, materials science, and electrochemistry to study the assembly and performance of aqueous batteries using gel electrolytes. The experiment is designed to enhance students’ understanding of advanced battery technologies through both theoretical and practical approaches. It encompasses the preparation and characterization of gel electrolytes, the assembly of aqueous batteries, and the evaluation of battery performance. The study investigates the impact of material preparation and battery assembly processes on battery performance. By integrating the concepts of green chemistry and sustainable development, the experiment guides students to apply chemical knowledge to solve real problems, thereby stimulating their interest in scientific research and innovative thinking.
