Abstract:

The discovery of fluorescence and the development of fluorescent dyes have enriched our lives and brought important applications. As a new member of the fluorescent dye family, aggregation-induced emission materials have developed rapidly in recent years. Herein, we introduce the development history of the aggregation-induced emission phenomenon, the application of the aggregation-induced emission (AIE) materials, and the prospect of the future.
