Investigation into the Foreign Textbook of Chemical Principle: Book Review of Chemistry (10th edition) by Zumdahl

Abstract:

Zumdahl's Chemistry is a popular, internationally acknowledged textbook on chemical principles. In this paper, we give a brief introduction of this textbook. The content of the textbook has both breadth and depth, and also has the easy readability, wide applicability and strong expansibility. The compilation of the textbook closely follows the basic idea of helping students' chemical thinking so that they can apply the process of the problem solving to all aspects of their life. In the content and form design, the textbook adopts a variety of strategies to cultivate students' ability of analyzing and solving problems and the ability of critical thinking.
