“Rebirth” of Antarctic Fish: What We Know about Antifreeze Proteins

Abstract: A summer-born Antarctic fish experiences its first winter and learns from its mother about the key to survival: antifreeze proteins and their mechanism of action. Through subsequent challenges in freezing conditions, it discovers diverse antifreeze mechanisms and explores the extensive applications of antifreeze proteins in nature.
