Abstract: This study investigates the application of humic acid in saline-alkali soil remediation as a science communication topic. Through comprehensive experiments and public demonstrations, we validate its significant effects on improving soil structure and reducing salinization. The experimental design includes humic acid’s role in promoting soil aggregate formation, production methods via composting, quantitative analysis of humic acid content, and soil amendment planting trials. Our results demonstrate that humic acid effectively enhances soil aggregation and increases seed germination rates. Additionally, we developed tailored science communication programs for diverse age groups and social demographics. Using interactive experiments and engaging visual materials, we successfully translated complex scientific principles into accessible ecological practices, facilitating public participation in saline-alkali land remediation.
