Teaching Practice of Flipped Classroom by Using the On-Line Course Resources of Inorganic Chemistry

摘要:

以天津大学无机化学课程在2015–2018学年开展的由混合式教学逐步过渡为翻转课堂教学实践为例,充分利用在线课程资源,在全校范围内30余个自然班大规模开展翻转课堂教学实践,从根本上解决传统教学模式下学生参与度低、学习主动性差的问题。本文将从教学模式转变、在线资源建设、在线和线下督学、成绩分析和教学思考等方面进行详细介绍和总结,探讨提高学生的知识与能力的有效途径,也为高校教师开展课堂教学改革提供借鉴和参考。

Abstract:

During the years of 2015 to 2018, the inorganic chemistry course in Tianjin University has gradually transited from small private on-line course (SPOC) to flipped classroom. Flipped classroom teaching practices were carried out at more than 30 classes at our university by the sufficient use of on-line course resources. These practices effectively improve the quality of teaching, and greatly solve the problem of poor learning initiative and low participation of the students existing in current traditional teaching model. This article in detail introduces and summarizes the following four aspects, including transition of teaching modes, construction of online resources, online and offline supervising, test scores analysis and teaching thought. The effective ways for flipped classroom mode are discussed to improve students' knowledge and learning ability. And it also provides references for teachers to carry out their classroom teaching reform.
