Abstract: To overcome the challenges of traceability and inadequate supervision associated with traditional reagent cabinets, the Institute of Soil Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences, has developed a cost-effective and highly adaptable intelligent transformation solution utilizing QR code (Quick Response code) and Bluetooth technologies. This system facilitates comprehensive tracking and monitoring of reagents while enabling laboratory personnel to perform reagent operations conveniently via mobile terminals. Compatible with most domestically manufactured reagent cabinets, the solution addresses common limitations of intelligent reagent cabinets, such as high costs, excessive functionalities, and poor compatibility. It offers reusable technical pathways and practical case studies for the intelligent upgrading of traditional reagent cabinets in academic and research institutions.
