Abstract

Abstract:

At the time for a centurial development of polymer science, the synthesized polymers have been the modern materials to benefit the people's livings. However, the microplastic pollution, an important global concern with respect to the reputation of the polymers, is now seriously considered mostly due to the misuse of the naturally undegradable polymers. In this paper, a short story about the microplastic pollution is presented, and the development and improvement of the polymer materials in the future are introduced.
