Abstract: Fluorescence detection has found extensive applications in various fields such as chemical analysis and biological testing. Therefore, conducting experiments related to fluorescence detection is of significant importance in undergraduate laboratory education. This experiment successfully developed a low-cost, compact open-source fluorescence spectrometer, whose performance was comprehensively evaluated and applied to the detection of real samples. The aim is to foster students’ awareness and confidence in designing and creating instruments.
