Abstract:

Rhodium and iridium are two rare elements of the platinum family, and they have very similar properties. In a third-person personification, their unique physical and chemical properties, such as boiling point, reflectivity, elastic modulus, catalytic activity, and chemical stability have been introduced by designing a game of challenges. Additionally, the properties of their oxides and halides are also included, especially their applications in electroplating, automobile tail gas catalytic converters, thermocouple manufacturing.

Key words: Rhodium, Iridium, Iridium-rhodium alloy
