Abstract:

Currently, there are several hidden dangers in the temporary reagent inventories of university chemistry teaching laboratories. However, the general volumes of these inventories are small; thus, they are easily ignored by managers, which can result in accidents. This paper describes a practical approach to the transformation of reagent libraries by considering the practical situation at the chemical laboratory reagent library of the National Demonstration Center for Experimental Chemistry Education (USTC).This approach provides a reference for the transformation of reagent libraries at other universities to comply to the relevant laws, regulations, and national standards.
