Abstract:

Flower fragrance is one of the natural attributes of flowers. It is an important criterion for evaluating the quality of flowers, and an important part of China's traditional culture. In this paper, to help readers have a better understanding about the chemistry knowledge in fragrances of different Chinese traditional flowers, we will introduce the chemical properties, the preparations and the applications of the main components in flower fragrance by anthropomorphic method. It is expected that scientists would further utilize rich plant resources in China, and develop more products based on flower fragrance. Finally, by promoting the flower industry, China's traditional culture can be further expanded in the world.
