Abstract: Crab shells play a pivotal role in environmental and resource utilization, with their transformation process embodying unique scientific significance. This study employs anthropomorphic narrative techniques to chronicle the metamorphic journey of the “crab shell family” (chitin, chitosan, and calcium carbonate) from marine waste to high-value materials. The work systematically demonstrates their multifaceted applications across energy storage, environmental remediation, and biomedical fields, offering an engaging perspective on the scientific principles and sustainable value of waste valorization.

Key words: Crab shell waste, Chitin, Chitosan, Calcium carbonate, Resource utilization
