Abstract: Aggregation-induced emission (AIE) molecules have found extensive applications in biomedical research and related fields. This study develops a fluorescent sensor array by precisely controlling the aggregation states of 1-(4-carboxyphenyl)-1,2,2-triphenylethene on polyethyleneimine for pattern recognition of complex glycosaminoglycans. The experiment serves as an educational platform for students to explore cutting-edge interdisciplinary research spanning supramolecular chemistry, photochemistry, analytical chemistry, and pharmaceutical sciences. Participants will gain hands-on experience with fluorescence spectrophotometry and microplate reader operation, while mastering innovative approaches from fundamental AIE principles to practical detection applications.
