Recent advances in the biomedical applications of nanozymes

Abstract: Nanozymes have garnered significant attention in biomedical research due to their superior stability, cost-effectiveness, and tunable catalytic properties. This review systematically classifies prevalent nanozyme types and elucidates their catalytic mechanisms. It further discusses strategies for performance optimization, with particular emphasis on cutting-edge applications in biosensing, therapeutic interventions, and antimicrobial applications. The review concludes with perspectives on future developments to advance nanozyme applications in biomedicine.
