Abstract: Organic Chemistry is a fundamental compulsory course with a high degree of knowledge correlation among undergraduate courses for chemistry-related majors. Organometallic chemistry, as an important branch of organic chemistry, is presented with limited and fragmented content in the foundational course. This often leads students to grasp only basic concepts while ignoring its critical role in real-world scientific research and chemical production. Therefore, during instruction, organizing the relevant organometallic chemistry content and presenting a constructed correlation map can enable students to intuitively perceive the systematic nature of the knowledge, thereby stimulating their learning interest and deepening their understanding.
