Abstract:

We integrated STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) teaching concepts into SPOC (Small Private Online Course) blended teaching of applied chemistry experiments, and adopted the case teaching method for different experimental projects. Students completed online previews of experimental contexts and videos before class and discussed and analyzed the cases in groups during class. With teacher guides, the students provided solutions and conducted experimental operations. Effective STEM evaluation was used after class. Practicing the above teaching methods organically integrated online teaching resources and offline experimental operation, promoted students' autonomous learning, and cultivated students' scientific spirit and cooperative innovation ability.
