Interview Report of Purine Family

Abstract:

Purines play an essential role in maintaining the normal life activities, but abnormal metabolism of purine can cause gout. In this paper, the structure, distribution and physiological functions of purine, adenine, guanine, hypoxanthine and xanthine are introduced in the form of an interview with the purines. Moreover, the process of purine metabolism to produce uric acid, and the etiology, pathogenesis, prevention and treatment measures of gout are also presented in a simple and easy-to-understand way.
