Cultivation of interdisciplinary innovative talents through scienceengineering integration: a case study at University of Science and Technology Beijing

Abstract: In technology-focused industry-specialized universities, we have developed an innovative training paradigm for cultivating “Chemistry+” interdisciplinary talents. This model embodies the principle of “promoting chemistry through engineering while strengthening engineering with chemical expertise”, integrating ideological education with professional training. key strategies involve establishing interdisciplinary courses, forming cross-disciplinary teaching teams, creating collaborative practice platforms, fostering research-teaching synergy, and developing an intelligent educational ecosystem.
