Teaching Undergraduate Students the X-Ray Structural Analysis Laboratory Course

Abstract:

The incorporation of X-ray structural analysis into the undergraduate chemistry laboratory course is both necessary and practical. Regarding the characteristics of X-ray lab course, some practices on introducing basic theories for the lab course, setting up the syllabus of the course, and teaching arrangements are presented based on our teaching practice in the past several years.
