Abstract:

The article analyzed question 8 of organic chemistry part in the 35th Chinese Chemistry Olympiad Competition (Preliminary) in detail. The question involved the fundamental theory of organic chemistry and the properties of organic substances. The relevant theories, scientific backgrounds, or problem-solving strategies were discussed in depth. This will promote the readers' understanding of organic chemistry and reinforce the chemical concept of structure determining properties.
