School Enterprise Collaboration Driving Innovation in the “Product Engineering” Course

Abstract: This article analyzes key challenges in the traditional educational approach and underscores the need for reform through school-enterprise collaboration. Using the “Product Engineering” course at Beijing University of Chemical Technology as a case study, this new teaching model involves inviting industry experts to co-develop and deliver the course. The paper introduces the course’s structure from three perspectives: curriculum design, teacher team development, and curriculum implementation. This innovative education model enhances students’ comprehensive skills, improves educational quality, and boosts corporate innovation capacity.
