Implementation and insights: AI teaching assistant in smart physical chemistry laboratory course

Abstract: The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence technology has positioned smart course development as a pivotal aspect of higher education reform. In physical chemistry laboratory instruction, AI teaching assistant technology presents innovative solutions to longstanding challenges in conventional experimental pedagogy. This article details the implementation of an AI teaching assistant system within Tianjin University's smart physical chemistry laboratory course, examining its practical deployment, post-implementation evaluations, and potential extensions. The findings offer actionable insights for advancing intelligent transformation of laboratory courses in higher education settings.
