Abstract: To cultivate high-quality talents who can not only adapt to the demands of the information and digital era while addressing national energy security, we have implemented a series of curriculum reforms and explored innovative talent training models under the educational philosophy of “cultivating values, strengthening foundations, and enhancing engineering competence”. By integrating ideological and political education into the curriculum, we aim to foster students’ patriotism, professionalism, awareness of energy conservation and emission reduction, and teamwork skills. To strengthen students’ disciplinary foundations, we have developed energy-themed teaching resources and knowledge maps, reorganized teaching content based on students’ cognitive levels, adopted a blended teaching mode combining online and offline methods, and introduced a “diverse, multi-party, and comprehensive” assessment system to evaluate learning outcomes throughout the process. To enhance students’ engineering innovation capabilities, we have employed an “engineering case-driven approach combined with TBL (team-based learning)” in-class activities and extended the curriculum through simulation experiments and subject competitions. These measures have yielded significant results.
