Abstract:

Course ideology and politics is a new requirement of education in which professional teachers guide students to shape correct outlooks on the world, value and life in the process of imparting knowledge and cultivating competence. In this paper, guided by the idea of "OBE (objective-based education)", we try to practice and explore the ideological and political education in terms of the curriculum objectives, teaching content, teaching methods, teaching procedures, teaching modes and assessment system. Firstly, we set the moral education objectives that engineering and technical talents should have. Secondly, we explore the ideological and political elements in the course. Thirdly, we employ a variety of teaching modes to help ideological and political teaching. Moreover, we set up a measurable and assessable assessment system. Finally, we take some effective measures to improve ideological and political education in the course. All these provide a useful reference for the reform of ideological and political education in higher education.
