Abstract: The scope of analytical chemistry experiments conducted in higher education institutions tends to be limited, predominantly focusing on traditional analytical methods and the fundamental principles of instruments. Introducing a comprehensive experimental teaching projects can significantly enhance students' abilities in independent exploration, proactive thinking, and problem-solving. This paper presents a detailed design for a comprehensive experiment using nano-titanium dioxide (TiO2) as a photocatalyst for the degradation of phenol pollutants. The scheme involves the principles of photocatalytic degradation and electrochemical monitoring, including the assembly of both the photocatalytic degradation and electrochemical apparatus.
