Abstract:

Catalysis course is one of the vital main courses of chemistry and chemical engineering related engineering programs, and it is also an important way to achieve the goal of "Strengthen moral education and cultivate people" and "All-round collaborative education" during the process of emerging engineering education construction from the traditional ones. Herein, ideological elements contained in the content of catalysis chemistry course are fully exploited and closely combined with catalytic knowledge, the frontier of science and technology and social focus to design and implement "course ideology and politics" cases in detail base on the curriculum objectives of catalysis chemistry. In this way, the moral education carrier function of catalysis courses would be allowed to give a full play to achieving the resonance between knowledge-transference and value-orientation, and support the cultivation of emerging engineering talents with the ability of integrating theory, learning and knowledge with practice.
