Abstract: Aziridines are significant organic structural motifs that serve as key intermediates for the synthesis of diverse nitrogen-containing compounds. Organic electrochemistry has emerged as an environmentally friendly and sustainable approach to organic synthesis, facilitating a range of chemical transformations without the need for external redox reagents. This review highlights recent advancements in the electrochemical aziridination of alkenes for the synthesis of aziridines, with a focus on reaction design, active intermediates, and future prospects for development.
