Abstract:

In the era of sharp reformation in China's higher education, inorganic chemistry laboratory course is the first laboratory course for freshmen whose majors are chemistry or related disciplines. The freshmen are omnidirectionally cultivated, including ideology and politics, in inorganic chemistry laboratory course, which plays a key role in improving lab skills, consolidating basic theoretical knowledge, stimulating students' patriotic feelings, understanding scientific laws, and developing thinking innovation. Our work took the preparation of graphene oxide as an example to discuss how to introduce ideology and politics into the laboratory teaching. Thus, it will improve the undergraduates' scientific research ability, and meanwhile make them realize the importance of scientific research in strengthening our country, therefore to cultivate their idea of serving the country with science and technology.
