General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasizes in his significant discussion on education that the education about value guide should be implemented by all staff in an all-round way, and "course ideology and politics" should be taken in all class teaching as the main channel for value guidance of education. This paper briefly summarizes the development of the "ideological and political instruction in professional courses". By analyzing the limitations of implementing ideological and political instruction in science teaching, the specific implement scheme is given here. Based on the characteristics of science course and geographical, the propaganda and education of socialism with Chinese characteristics, ideal and faith, outstanding traditional culture and revolutionary tradition should be integrated into the chemistry teaching in colleges by osmosis. This educational concept can also instruct the students to set up the correct values and enhance the sense of social responsibility, striving to be the reliable successors to socialist construction.
Integrity is an important part of moral education, which is related to the growth of college students and the development of society. The characteristics of chemistry laboratory class are conducive to the implementation of integrity education. For better understanding the integrity awareness of college students and the academic dishonesty in current laboratory teaching, we conducted relevant survey using questionnaires. Combined with the investigation results and the observation from teachers in the teaching process, the dishonest problems in the current laboratory teaching are summarized, then the related practice of integrity education was carried out in the laboratory teaching.
In the teaching process of basic chemistry laboratory courses, the cases of course ideology and politics were deeply explored on the basis of "overall planning, co-construction and sharing", covering six aspects including nostalgic feelings of home country, scientist/craftsman spirit, science and technology innovation (theory/technology and method innovation), safety and environmental consciousness, social responsibility/professional quality, and role models. Generally, the overall education function of the chemical laboratory courses was given a full play by combining multiple forms of "intelligence + teaching" laboratory teaching model and strengthening teachers' ability of "moral education" in multiple ways.

Focusing on the teaching content and characteristics of chemical safety and environmental protection course, this paper deeply excavates the ideological and political education elements contained in the course, analyzes and constructs corresponding ideological and political teaching cases by using historical materialism, so as to realize the harmonious integration of ideological and political education and professional education.

In this paper, we have reformed and investigated the teaching concepts and contents of the university chemistry course. Through knowledge imparting and value guiding, the ideology and politics education system for the university chemistry course is constructed, which takes the knowledge of university chemistry course as the main body and is dominated by promoting undergraduates' humanistic family value ability, scientific and cultural literacy, as well as scientific thinking methods. Through the reasonable combination with curriculum knowledge, this work carries out seven educational thoughts, including patriotism education, philosophy dialectical ideological education, cognition and development education, scientific literacy education, willpower character education, social rules and order education, safety awareness education and introduces the design concept and specific cases of course ideology and politics education in the university chemistry.
During the teaching process of ion polarization, the opposite and main contradictions in the theory of ion polarization were analyzed. Based on the opposition and unity in the contradictions, we described the mutual polarization. And then anti-polarization was introduced, which implied the complexity of the contradiction. At last, the limitations of the ion polarization theory were put forward by using the universality and particularity of the contradiction. Along these lines, we constructed a teaching model for ion polarization theory based on dialectical principle of contradiction. Assisted by the scientific teaching method combined with the typical examples, it is much easier for the students to grasp the core issues in ion polarization theory, which effectively counteracts the difficulties in learning the scattered knowledge points. It is essential to cultivate students' scientific thinking abilities. As one of the important philosophical category of Marxism, it also benefits for the cultivation of students' scientific ideological and political outlook.

In the era of sharp reformation in China's higher education, inorganic chemistry laboratory course is the first laboratory course for freshmen whose majors are chemistry or related disciplines. Our work took the preparation of graphene oxide as an example to discuss how to introduce ideology and politics into the laboratory teaching. Thus, it will improve the undergraduates' scientific research ability, and meanwhile make them realize the importance of scientific research in strengthening our country, therefore to cultivate their idea of serving the country with science and technology.
This article mainly introduces the laboratory teaching results and discussions of "preparation and spectral identification of trans/cis-[Co(en)2Cl2]Cl", which is specially designed for the top talented chemistry-majored students in Xiamen University. Focusing on the two synthetic targets of "quality" and "quantity", i.e., how to get "pure" and "multiple" trans/cis-[Co(en)2Cl2]Cl complexes, the synthesis process and conditions were analyzed, reflected, and judged by questions and discussions based on the detailed and intuitive preparation process and UV-Visible absorption spectrum. Through this practice, we want to show how to effectively cultivate students' critical thinking in the laboratory teaching process.
There is a trend of keeping all professional courses going together with the ideological and political theory course to develop the synergetic teaching mode for high education. To this end, we explored the course ideology and politics reconstruction in analytical chemistry course. The course of analytical chemistry features the significant characteristics of experimentally verifiable that allow the science argumentation and convincing people by reasoning, benefiting the reconstruction of course ideology and politics. We carefully designed the ideological and political elements and developed the "moistening things in silence" and emotional resonance teaching mode to realize the aim of value leading and to elevate the professional teaching effect.

In this study, based on the concept of course ideology and politics and the teaching objectives of physical chemistry, possible points for ideological and political education in the course are explored from the following six aspects: the history and development of the discipline, resumes of scientists, classical theories and methods, interdisciplinary knowledge, the frontiers of physical chemistry and science and technology, and applications of physical chemistry in production and life. Meanwhile, teaching designs, practice modes, and evaluation methods of course ideology and politics are proposed.

The ideological and political aspects of physical chemistry MOOC were explored and practiced. The ideological instances of "the physical chemistry and philosophical thinking", "approaching the chemist", "enjoying classical Chinese poems and learning physical chemistry" and "environmental protection" were chosen as the main topics. The new three-stage teaching mode of physical chemistry MOOC, "guiding-studying-thinking" was practiced so as to improve the teaching quality and students' ideology and morality.

In this paper, teaching reform of integrating ideological and political education with functional polymer was proposed, aiming at taking the full advantage of the ideological and political education resources of polymer theoretical course. The urgency, combining elements and teaching methods of ideological and political education for functional polymer course reform were discussed. Several subject matters and contents about ideal and belief, value orientation, political belief and social responsibility were introduced into theoretical teaching of functional polymer. It is beneficial for clearing ideological belief, improving psychological quality, correcting value orientation, and enhancing social responsibility of students. In this paper, the practices and thoughts of utilizing AIE theory to construct course ideology and politics teaching case of chemistry in college of chemistry of Zhengzhou University is introduced.

This kind of design can increase students' participation and let them understand the generation and development of environment problem, recognize the major environmental issues of the day, clarify the research content and task of environmental chemistry during the learning process of completing the course content.
As the first core course for students majoring in pharmacy, pharmaceutical chemistry covers a breadth of content and involves broad knowledge, thus, is difficult for both teachers and students. The review consists of three parts as curriculum objectives designing, classroom teaching activities and online teaching during the COVID-19 epidemics.
Carrying out ideological and political education in green chemistry teaching can help students to improve their consciousness of greening of chemistry and sense of social responsibility. In this paper, several ideological and political elements according to different part of the text book Principle and Application of Green Chemistry were introduced, and two reform methods that were special reports of green enterprises or plastic recycling and developing social practice activities were put forth. These methods were proved to be effective and valuable when they were performed in the teaching process. The students can associate their green chemistry learning consciously with the ecological civilization construction in China and practicing the theory of "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets". They can be more confident and responsible to make a contribution to nation's development with their knowledge and skills.
Ideological and political education in the specialized English for chemistry in normal university should not only enrich teaching material in the classroom, but also help students solve ideological confusion. We present a systemic analysis of the ideological and political elements in this course based on particularity of the course and characteristics of the college students, explore the ways of organic integration of professional knowledge and ideological and political elements during the teaching process, and incorporate ideological and political education into listening, speaking, reading and writing sections. The aim of "course ideology and politics" is to guide students to correctly understand the differences between Chinese and Western cultures, cultivate students' dialectical thinking, patriotism, cultural confidence and sense of social responsibility, so as to achieve the purpose of teaching and educating college students.
