A Preliminary Study on Course Ideology and Politics Education in Flavor Compounds Chemistry

Abstract:

Flavor compounds chemistry is a compulsory course open to students majoring in flavor and fragrance technology and engineering, and is a prerequisite for flavor imitation and flavor technology. To further implement the fundamental task of strengthening moral education and cultivating people, and to fully exert the main role of classroom teaching, we impart professional theoretical knowledge in flavor compounds chemistry to students together with ideological and political education. In this paper, national pride, self-confidence in the socialist road with Chinese characteristics, the courage to explore and advocacy of truth, the endless pursuit of perfection, without fear of hardship, perseverance, legal system consciousness, social responsibility, and international perspective were integrated with flavor compounds chemistry. The aim is to enable students to cultivate political awareness and to establish a correct outlook on life and society while students learning professional theoretical knowledge.
