Age of Supercritical Carbon Dioxide

Abstract:

Supercritical carbon dioxide (scCO2) is a fluid state of CO2 formed above its critical temperature and pressure. Supercritical fluid technology and its applications have become an important research field and new growth-point for knowledge disciplines in China. Through anthropomorphism, this paper introduces the definition, advantages, applications, and development prospects of scCO2. Moreover, some physical and chemical principles are presented to help readers learn the relevant knowledge relating to scCO2.
