Abstract:

At present, the society has put forward high requirements for the cultivation of applied talents in colleges and universities, and OBE (Outcome Based Education) is an international advanced education concept produced to meet this demand. Organic chemistry is the core basic course of pharmacy-related majors. Due to its rich contents, scattered theories, and the limitations of traditional classroom teaching, most of the graduates cannot meet the needs of society for employment. Therefore, under the background of "cultivating people with morality", the three educational concepts of OBE's results-oriented, student-centered and continuous improvement are introduced into the teaching of this course, and the course is reformed and explored from the aspects of clarifying the course objectives and optimizing the teaching content. The purpose is to comprehensively improve the quality of organic chemistry teaching and lay a solid foundation for the society to deliver compound and innovative pharmacy talents.
