Abstract: Curriculum-based ideological and political education serves as a crucial pathway for implementing the fundamental mission of fostering virtue through education. The organic integration of value guidance into specialized experimental teaching constitutes a significant focus in higher chemistry education. This study employs the classical physical chemistry experiment “Determination of Molar Mass by Freezing Point Depression” as an instructional platform, establishing an integrated teaching framework encompassing knowledge transmission, skill development, and value cultivation. By thoroughly examining the ideological and political elements inherent in the experiment—including scientific spirit, innovative thinking, patriotic sentiment, and social responsibility—the design achieves deep integration of experimental principle instruction, operational skill training, and ideological education. While mastering the principles of freezing point determination, applying colligative properties of dilute solutions, and calculating molar mass, students gain appreciation for the exploratory spirit of pioneering scientists, develop rigorous scientific attitudes, embrace environmentally sustainable concepts, and cultivate social responsibility. This pedagogical design provides a replicable model for systematic implementation of ideological-political education in physical chemistry experiments, offering substantial value for cultivating chemistry professionals with both ethical integrity and professional competence.
