Abstract:

Chemistry plays an important role in the daily production and human life, and human beings cannot live without chemistry. However, the inappropriate utilization of chemistry will cause great harm to human beings, thus, schools should devote themselves to the ideological and political education of chemical engineering majors. The course of chemical safety and environmental protection is the core course of chemical major. It introduces the characteristics of modern industry, environmental protection and safety of chemical industry, and contains rich ideological and political elements. Focusing on the teaching content and characteristics of chemical safety and environmental protection course, this paper deeply excavates the ideological and political education elements contained in the course, analyzes and constructs corresponding ideological and political teaching cases by using historical materialism, so as to realize the harmonious integration of ideological and political education and professional education.
