Abstract: As a compulsory laboratory course, basic organic chemistry experiments play a pivotal role in enhancing students' research competencies and nurturing innovative thinking. This paper explores teaching innovations in the basic organic chemistry experiment curriculum by incorporating modern synthetic methodologies and their practical applications into four fundamental experimental modules: alcohol halogenation, alcohol oxidation, esterification, and amidation reactions. The integration of cutting-edge content facilitates students' comprehension of diverse reaction types, stimulates scientific curiosity, and cultivates innovative capabilities, thereby establishing an effective pathway for cultivating top-tier application-oriented professionals.
