Abstract: To address the teaching challenges in organic chemistry, such as tight schedules and complex course content, this study developed the Guide-Check-Map-Present (GCMP) pyramid teaching model. This features four core components: focused lectures to establish foundational knowledge, assessments and feedback via Rain Classroom, mind map construction for knowledge integration, and thematic presentations to foster innovation. Practice shows that this model effectively enhances student engagement, knowledge integration, and preliminary problem-solving abilities, offering a replicable approach for foundational courses with limited instructional hours.
