Abstract: Physical chemistry experiment serves as a crucial bridge linking theoretical knowledge with engineering practice. As a core experiment, the determination of magnetic susceptibility incorporates multiple teaching objectives, including principles of magnetism, instrument operation, data processing, and more. Centered on the core ideology of “Carrying the Tao through Magnetic Moments, Seeking Truth to Forge the Soul”, this paper constructs a curriculum ideological and political teaching system for the magnetic susceptibility experiment from four dimensions: patriotism, scientific spirit, craftsmanship spirit, and teamwork. By exploring the patriotic deeds of pioneers in magnetism such as Shi Ruwei, integrating innovative applications of modern magnetic technologies, emphasizing rigorous and standardized experimental operations, and designing inquiry tasks for group collaboration, the organic integration of knowledge imparting and value guidance is realized. Combined with experimental teaching practice, this study formulates supporting designs for ideological and political integration nodes, teaching evaluation systems, and digital empowerment strategies, providing a replicable and generalizable practical paradigm for the ideological and political construction of physical chemistry experiment courses.
