Cultivation of Innovation in Undergraduates: A Case Study in the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at the University of Science and Technology Beijing

Abstract:

Training plans with innovative features were formulated, and various practice platforms were built to cultivate innovation in undergraduates. Different types of encouragement could be used with different students with the help of the undergraduate tutorial system. Teaching feedback from research achievements was encouraged, and teachers with high innovation abilities were produced. New teaching methods were adopted to help encourage students' innovation, and assessment methods were amended to investigate students' ability to analyze and solve problems.
