Abstract:

Based on the national first-class online course of inorganic chemistry, the online and offline hybrid classroom is carried out by integrating with PBL (Problem-Based Learning) teaching mode. A PBL problem is designed to explore the related inorganic chemistry knowledge in "carbon emission peak and carbon neutralization". The students start with the chemical reaction process respected to the CO2 production, analyze the chemical reaction principle related to the new CO2 conversion technology aiming at reducing carbon emissions, and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of different CO2 conversion technologies. With the help of PBL teaching mode, the students may well integrate the theory and practice, and consolidate the theoretical foundation, as well as improve the students' learning ability and problem-solving ability. Moreover, through the introduction of ideological and political education, the students can also find the progress in science and technology in our country, which realizes the moral cultivation of the course teaching process.
