Abstract:

Physical chemistry is a major basic course of chemistry and chemical engineering specialties for undergraduate students in colleges and universities. Its curriculum reform and improvement must keep pace with the times. This paper introduces the basic principles of course ideology and politics in physical chemistry course based on in-depth study and understanding of the connotation of "course education" in the current wave of "undergraduate oriented", that is, to integrate ideological and political elements with scientific knowledge organically through the mode of "moistening things in silence" and to train socialist builders and successors. In addition, some examples of course education including the history of scientific development, Chinese physicochemists, excellent traditional culture, interdisciplinary innovation, as well as contemporary scientists around us are presented, which would be enlightened to teaching counterparts.
